This is a blog. Thing. I don’t know what exactly about yet, probably things I like and find interesting and can somehow connect and share in interesting and insightful ways even if you’re not someone exactly like me or you don’t like the same things I do. I like lists. So there will probably be some of those.
Due to reasons, living vicariously through posted images was my only means of participating in Idea Channel’s first Office Hours with mikerugnetta and the crew. Wish I could have been there - but hey vicarious living’s what the internet’s for right? Thx to all those who shared by posting! Next time for sure. Enjoy this carthartic compilation in that gap.

Found these two pieces my Magritte Very interesting. Couldn’t take a physical picture of them in the museum’s anti camera zone, so pulled these offline. Dual portraits as I understand it Magritte’s surrealism brings a striking idea of individualism in portrait alive. I feel that in these pieces he asks the question of what is individual identity, and points at the idea that it can’t be captured. #CalvinO'Boyle
